Well isn't this video unique. It's supposed to be mostly outtakes! Clever girl. Calling our attention to the artifice of our happy little fantasy world of music videos, thereby implicating the music industry machine in an enormous fallacy. I think the real message here is as long as you have a tall handsome actor for a fake boyfriend, nothing else matters. Did I interpret that correctly?

I basically remember this song for its cool little bass runs (at the time, I was learning to play bass) and for my 12-year-old self happily imagining Natalie Imbruglia "lying naked on the floor."
