Volume 240: Third Eye Blind "Semi-Charmed Life" (1997)

Third Eye Blind were kind of the quintessential late-90s band. They rocked, they were catchy, they were all pretty good looking, and there was some depth to (some of) their music. I also applaud any band who makes good use of the "doo doo doo, doo doo doo doo" trope.

Volume 45: Third Eye Blind "How's It Going to Be" (1997)

Third Eye Blind is kind of the quintessential pop/rock band of the last half of the 90s. A string of solid singles, a legion of fans (of both sexes--go figure) and a good looking lead singer. The 90s were Third Eye Blind's oyster, and they were all, "Yo can I get some beer with these oysters?"

I picked this one because everyone still remembers "Semi-Charmed Life" too vividly and "Jumper" is depressing. They'll make an appearance sometime though, lest I be accused of being incomplete. Plus I dig the riff in this one.
