Man, this song just rocks. It has enough attitude to get past the angstyness. Good ol' Smashing Pumpkins. Can never go wrong.

Volume 204: Smashing Pumpkins "Tonight Tonight" (1996)

I am ashamed to admit that I somehow never owned a Smashing Pumpkins album. All I know of them are their singles. But MAN are they good. I guess as a self-proclaimed 90s expert, I need to go fix this chink in my armor.

Volume 42: Smashing Pumpkins "1979" (1996)

This is one of those videos that perfectly matches the song. It captures the exuberance and boredom of being a teenager, and the song remains relevant after 14 years. Plus the video is chock full of fisheye goodness!

I still wonder what that backwards/tape-loop type noise is. Whatever it is, it totally makes the song.
