SOUNDTRACK WEEK: Goo Goo Dolls "Iris" (1998)
The Goo Goo Dolls are pretty much a wuss-rock band, especially after their beginnings as a metalish/punkish band. Still, you can't really knock them for this song. It may be wuss-rock, but it's powerful wuss-rock. Yeah, powerful for girls, maybe. I mean that John Rzeznik is a handsome fellow, all up in his tower with his telescopes. What's so sexy about a serial peeping tom, huh ladies?
