Volume 34: Dave Matthews Band "Crash Into Me" (1997)

I was lying in bed last night playing around on the guitar like I usually do before I fall asleep, and I accidentally stumbled on this ambiguous C#m7/E chord and it was like jumping into a time rocket back to this song.

I am not a Dave Matthews fan, but I respect him and his band. Re-listening to this song today has made me realize how sophisticated and adult it is. All of the elements play with each other and define something without ever really speaking it outright. You're left with a teasing sense that the song was just getting started.
